favorite video game genres:
- #1 - RPGs (morrowind was so influential on me that i assign the E key to "jump" in other first-person games
- #2 - Adventure Games (classic point-&-click, "walking sim", supermassive, dontnod, quantic dream, sam barlow, etc.)
- #3 - Survival Horror
- #4 - Rhythm Games (i've played more theatrhythm than all other final fantasy titles combined)
- #5 - 90s/2000s immersive sims and shooters ("boomer shooters" makes so much sense as a genre name because the baby boomer generation famously loved the bloody violence and demonic imagery of DOOM so much they got The Who to do the soundtrack for quake. that's roger daltrey making the jump noise! i love The Who but obviously i'm being facetious)
