the best gaming advice i can give you is to send fan mail to small devs! i'm sure this is good advice for tabletop games as well as video games. any small, independent "content creator" (ugh). I sent an indie game dev a fan letter and heard a response back that included "Messages like this keep me going". It's easy, free, and doesn't take long. I got so happy reading the response and it sounds like my letter was enjoyed as well. (for those wondering, i sent an email to "Moonless Formless", the dev behind "Withering Rooms", my love of which is peppered all over my site). i like the personal touch of good ol' electronic mail.

cradle of fear review: oh wow. any fans of gory b-movies need to see this. this is the 2001 film starring dani filth of symphonic metal band cradle of filth. if you love the band, hate them, or are completely ambivalent about them you should watch this if you like over-the-top low budget horror. the film is on tubi and if you watch the cold open you'll know whether or not you'll be onboard. the ADR is so high in the mix it sounds like it done by tim & eric. and like with all of his artistic endeavors, dani filth is having the time of his life.

question of the day: when was the last time you sent a thank you card? i guess i can try emailing dani filth but he's probably busy i imagine.

y'all take care. new link of the day will be posted as soon as i finish typing this out
